IT Wire Techs Return Policy

All equipment is new, factory tested by the manufacturer in good working order and warranted by the manufacturer according to their terms and conditions. It is the buyers responsibility to make sure that the products purchased are the correct ones for their particular application. Warranty is limited to the conditions set by that particular manufacturer and is limited to equipment failure under normal use on a properly connected, surge protected control unit and associated equipment.

The item you are returning may not be defective. It is common to assume that an item is defective when the cause is simply that the item has not been properly installed or properly programmed. We recommend that you first contact Our Technical Support to get help with any installation or programming problems you may have prior to requesting an RMA number.

No item will be accepted without an RMA (Return Authorization) number from IT Wite Techs, or the manufacturer. If you need to make a return, you should request an RMA immediately after receiving your equipment. You can request an RMA number for any item purchased from IT Wite Techs by calling sending an email to Customer Service . For verification purposes, always include the serial number(s) of the item(s) being returned. Equipment returned must arrive within 14 days of the equipment being received. IT Wite Techs will not be responsible for items lost by your shipping carrier, or returned items being delayed by your shipping carrier. For your own protection, we highly recommend you ship all equipment being returned with enough insurance to cover the value of the items. Please include the name the equipment was purchased under, the date of purchase, the invoice number, and a detailed description of the problem on all returns.

Please note there will be a 20% restock fee including all shipping charges on all non-defective returns. When a product is returned, the 'FREE Ground Shipping'  offer is waived, and the refund includes the total charge amount minus the restock and shipping charge. The items to be returned have to be returned within 14 business days from time of receipt. All equipment returned within this 14 day period must be in re-stockable condition. The items to be returned need to be in their original factory sealed boxes with all enclosed accessories. All serial numbers on all equipment are documented. All serial numbers are verified on all returns. The serial numbers on the items to be returned have to match the serial numbers on the factory boxes they were enclosed in. The items to be returned need to be the same items sold by IT Wite Techs on the same invoice in question. If the serial numbers on the returned equipment do not match the serial numbers on the boxes or on record, the items may be returned. If the factory seal on the boxes were broken by the recipient, DO NOT re-tape them since they need to be inspected. The original boxed equipment to be returned must be put within another box, just as it originally arrived. There cannot be any shipping stickers on the original factory boxes. Please put the original factory boxes within another box for shipping so that the original box is not damaged during shipping. If an item is returned in less than perfect condition, additional charges may apply, or the item may be returned.

After two weeks from the date of purchase all returns are handled directly by the equipment manufacturer according to their terms and conditions noted on the warranty. A copy of the manufacturer's warranty can also be provided to you upon request prior to any purchase. This is a copy of the same manufacturers warranty included with all new equipment, or listed on their web site. Shipping charges for returns are non refundable. If the original item shipped did not include shipping charges because free shipping was included, these original shipping charges may also be applied to the return.

Need to send in an item to repair during the warranty period? IT Wite Techs works with many different manufacturers. Many manufacturers have different policies when it comes to exchanges or repairs during the warranty period. Even though an item that failed during the warranty period will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer according to their terms and conditions, most manufacturers require that exchanges or repairs during the warranty period be handled directly through the dealer that the equipment was purchased from. If you have an item that needs to be repaired during the warranty period, IT Wite Techs, if needed, will be happy to handle the transaction for you or even expedite the assignment of the RMA (return authorization) number from the manufacturer. All equipment sold by IT Wite Techs includes the manufacturers warranty information in the provided documentation, or is provided through the manufacturers web site.
